Nostalgic games bring about happy and personal associations from the past and bring many memories. Most of these games are more than ten years old, but we never really forget these games. These games are the foundation of the games we play today. Kids today will never know how awesome it felt to play GTA Vice City, driving all over the Vice city while listening to retro songs on the in-game radio.
I have made a list of video games worthy of paying homage for people who have been playing since the 90s or for the gamers who have recently chosen gaming as their passion. Playing these games today will hit gamers with a dose of nostalgia feeling.
10. Max Payne Series
Max Payne series was one of the unique shooting games back in those days. Remedy Entertainment developed the Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2. Rockstars made the third instalment. Playing as Max and shooting while jumping used to feel and look fantastic. The games were way ahead of their time.

As of 2014, the game has sold over 14 million copies worldwide.
The prototype is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Activision. Activision released the game on June 9, 2009. The prototype is undoubtedly a very different game that had some excellent features back in the day.
We played as Alex Mercer (a virus), who possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and shapeshifting abilities. Furthermore, it is a sandbox game where we could roam around the world, murdering anything that moves at ease.
Bully was developed by Rockstar Vancouver and published by Rockstar Games. Rockstar released the game on October 17, 2006, for PlayStation 2. Around 2008, Rockstar Games released a remastered version of Bully named Bully, the scholarship edition. Rockstar also released Bully for PlayStation 4, available on PlayStation Network.
The game was unique back in 2006, and even in 2021, we still don’t have a good game identical to Bully, where we get to play as high school students. Bully is an action-adventure game where we get to do many different activities like various classes and missions that are very different from The GTA series. The interaction with NPCs was exciting as we would be able to choose to react to other people.
However, the Bully still has a strong fanbase, and it sure does deserves to be in the list of Top ten Nostalgic games.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas doesn’t need any introduction as the game can be considered to be the best Nostalgic games of all time. Indeed GTA San Andreas is one of the most memorable games of all time and its definitely one of the best retro games. Moreover, this game Rockstar has filled the game with a whole lot of activities like going to gym restaurants fighting with other gangsters with your gang, a feature that is unavailable to the latest installment of the series GTA V.
