Metal Gear Solid V: Mods

Metal gear solid is almost seven years old; the game was released on September 1, 2015, developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami. Its available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It’s one of my all-time favourite games, and it’s by far one of the best open-world stealth games you will ever play; the graphics and gameplay are still up to the standards compared to games released in 2021. It can be evolved by Metal Gear Solid V: Mods

Metal Gear series is undoubtedly one of the most renowned franchises we could imagine its basically the foundation and an example of how a perfect stealth game should be. Sadly, the series ended when Konami decided to Create Metal Gear Survive the abomination, which is better left unsaid. To get the feel of the metal gear series, we have no option but to return to Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, but this time, we will evolve it with some excellent Metal Gear Solid V: Mods.

Installing MGSV mods is a piece of cake as it doesn’t require you to do anything other than using a mod manager similar to Skyrim. In MGSV, we will have to install a mod manager named Snakebite mod manager.

Mod Files (.MGSV file extension) can be installed and uninstalled in the game’s data patch archives using the Mod Manager. Mod Preset Files allow the mod manager to save and load collections of mods (.MGSVPreset file extension). Makebite is a companion app for SnakeBite that helps you format and build your files. Mod Files for MGSV. Makebite comes hand in hand with SnakeBite by default.

For the Solid snake fans like this mod is a gem. There are many options to bring Solid Snake into the game; mod enables players to replace the 2d suit with Solid snake with the models and textures as shown in the picture above, or it could simply replace the Big Boss. Playing with this mod will make you feel like it’s a remake or reboot of MGSV 1.

2. Naked Snake from MGS: Snake Eater

For the players who are fans of this version of Bigboss, this mod is perfect for them. This mod turns Venom snake into mgs3/Naked snake as it replaces every aspect of The Bigboss and makes you feel like you are playing as the original Bigboss and not some phantom of Bigboss. It almost gave me MGS: Snake Eater remake vibes.

3. Snowy Afghanistan

As the name suggests, this mod changes the deserts of Afghanistan into the snow. It almost gave me MGS: Shadow Moses vibes. If you install the solid snake mod mentioned above, it’s an entirely different experience with this mod, and it should give you a different experience.

4. I Can’t Believe It’s Not ReShade

Even though Metal gear solid v doesn’t require a graphics mod as its graphics and atmosphere is incredible on their own with the vanilla version upon release. Still, there’s nothing wrong with enhancing the graphics to look much more vivid. Moreover, it also reduces the excess bloom effect and brings in a lot more colour into the game.

This mod adds a whole lot of realism into the game. Hundreds of configurable options are available, including Subsistence mode for all missions, replay side-ops, Mother base invasions with multiple attack helicopters, Skull attacks in Free roam, Free-cam, skip heli rides, enemy and mother base gear customization, foot, heavy vehicle, and heli patrols in Free roam, and more.

These Mods, in my opinion, are awesome and adds a whole lot of content into the game, and perfect for another playthrough Furthermore Metal Gear Solid V definitely worth another shot in  2021
