Today I Came up With a set of Assassin’s Creed Game Leaks, according to a recent leak that is generally reliable, the upcoming Assassin’s Creed will take place in a setting that fans have requested but is unrelated to any known projects.

This year marks Assassin’s Creed’s fifteenth anniversary, despite the fact that everything has not been happy. While Ubisoft announced that the online services for several older AC games would be discontinued, the community has been celebrating online with a variety of posts. It’s been a mixed bag, but Ubi plans to move past the past and reveal the franchise’s future in September.

Prior to this, it has been said, reported, and/or confirmed that four projects are currently in development. Several Assassin’s Creed games are currently in development, including Assassin’s Creed Infinity, a confirmed live-service project; Assassin’s Creed Nexus; a smaller game starring Basim; Assassin’s Creed Rift; and the rumoured AC1 Remake. The most recent rumor, however, might upset what fans believe is happening at Ubisoft.

Aztec Civilization

The next Assassin’s Creed game “will be set in Aztecs Civilization,” according to Jeremy Penter, also known as ACG, in a brief and straightforward post. Although all rumours and leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, ACG has in the past been accurate regarding Ubisoft projects, such as Far Cry Primal. It is succinct, sweet, and to the point. But without additional context, it’s very challenging to understand how this fits into the bigger picture.

On the one hand, a point to be noted Mesoamerica in general, Tenochtitlan, and the Aztecs, in particular, have long been popular fan demands. It’s on par with a Japanese Assassin’s Creed game in terms of fan expectations, so depending on how ACG got this information, this may be just an extension of that. However, since “next” is the operative word here, it may significantly alter what fans believe is in store from Ubi.

It’s possible that this Aztec setting serves as a launch location for AC Infinity, which may debut sooner than anticipated. However, it seems unlikely given how little is known about the project. Many people thought the sequel to Assassin’s Creed Rift would be the next undertaking, but it was rumored to star Basim and take place in Baghdad. The next open-world Assassin’s Creed game could be the result of this, or it could indicate the existence of a different project that no one was aware of.

It’s difficult to advise fans on what to do with this information. In the end, the best course of action is to put it aside and wait to see what Ubisoft announces for Assassin’s Creed in September.
