AC Infinity Game: Things You Need To Know
Ubisoft’s franchise takes a significant step forward with Assassin’s Creed Infinity. It has a history of never being afraid to evolve, whether it be from a stealth action game to more of an RPG or from one historical period to another.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity, Ubisoft’s upcoming major undertaking, has the potential to completely alter the franchise. This might significantly alter how the series functions.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which was first mentioned in a Bloomberg report that Ubisoft has since confirmed, appears to be tying the franchise’s upcoming instalments together through “live service” components. Are our AC fans likely to be excited or worried about this? Here is everything we currently know.
AC Infinity Game Release Date
Ac Infinity game’s existence was confirmed in a Bloomberg (opens in new tab) report from July 2021, which also noted that it is “still years away from release.” This statement was later clarified by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, who reportedly said it’s “at least three years away.”
We Still don’t have any data or information regarding platforms the game will launch on, and Ubisoft hasn’t officially confirmed a release window, so that information is still speculative. It should be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, but since launch is still a ways off, we can safely assume Xbox One and PS4 won’t be included.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity’s setting and location have not yet been officially confirmed by Ubisoft, but based on the mentioned leak, it may span several different historical periods, including China in 1634 and Occupied France in 1943.
One significant leak about the new game was already posted on Reddit, where a “Ubisoft employee” (although this has not been confirmed) made some enormous claims.
The fact that the game is regarded as “free to play, but that business model is still being discussed” was one of the biggest revelations. The leaker also mentioned that Ubisoft is still figuring out how to monetize the game, though a full retail price is still under consideration.
Platform support at launch will be provided by Playstation 5, Xbox Series X and S consoles, PC via Ubisoft Connect, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna, according to the leaker.
The game will feature “both solo and cooperative play with a high level of player customization, moving towards a Destiny 2-like experience,” it was also revealed.
Another significant revelation of the leak was that the game will reportedly launch with multiple “Eras” that each have their own unique backstories.
Seasons, which are said to each introduce a new Era and questline, will add more content after the game’s launch.
The following eras, according to the leaker, would take place
AC Infinity Time Period
- During the Ming Dynasty in China in 1634, you and other assassins support a local peasant uprising. I’m not sure what happens next in this story because it’s still in the very early stages of development. According to what I understand, there will be two additional eras available at launch, but these have not yet been chosen.
- You play as one of the numerous Assassins recruited by Ezio during the events of AC: Brotherhood in the first Era, which is Rome, 1502. The tutorial and the start of the first major questline occur here.
- In this Era, which takes place in occupied France in 1943, a new mechanic—full-fledged firearms—is introduced for the first time in the series. Although melee combat is still very much a possibility, the gunplay mechanics have largely been taken from Watchdogs: Legion and modified to fit the rest of the game. This section’s plot revolves around a group of assassins who team up with the 2nd Armored Division to aid in the liberation of Paris while also looking for Axis officers and leaders with ties to the Templars.
